Harvey Mudd College New Residence Hall

Project Description PPC was part of a team that constructed a new three story, 45,000 square-foot residence hall, designed to be LEED Silver certified.  The building includes student lounges, group study rooms, laundry facilities, kitchen, student storage, and student living quarters.  The plumbing portion of the project included the installation of boilers, domestic hot and cold water, sanitary waste and vent, water heaters, and restroom fixtures.  The mechanical portion included installing air handlers with VFDs, heat recovery units, fan coils, fans and vents, pumps, chillers, valances, motorized dampers, duct work, refrigerant piping, building automation system controls, air balance and commissioning.
